1. Lactation Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 2 cups water or milk (dairy or non-dairy)

  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

  • 1 tablespoon brewer’s yeast

  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup berries or chopped fruit

  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (e.g., almonds or walnuts)

Instructions:

  1. Combine oats and water/milk in a pot and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer until oats are cooked.

  3. Stir in ground flaxseed, brewer’s yeast, and honey/maple syrup.

  4. Top with berries and nuts before serving.

2. Fenugreek and Fennel Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds

  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds

  • 2 cups water

  • Honey or lemon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil water and add fenugreek and fennel seeds.

  2. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  3. Strain and add honey or lemon to taste.

  4. Drink 1-2 cups per day.

3. Garlic and Spinach Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 6 cups fresh spinach, washed and chopped

  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and onion, and sauté until softened.

  3. Add spinach and cook until wilted.

  4. Pour in broth and bring to a boil.

  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

  6. Season with salt and pepper before serving.

4. Almond and Date Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk

  • 5-6 pitted dates

  • 1 banana

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Serve immediately.

5. Chickpea Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 1 cucumber, chopped

  • 1 bell pepper, chopped

  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine chickpeas, cucumber, bell pepper, and parsley.

  2. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice.

  3. Season with salt and pepper, then toss to combine.
